Quespos is
on the border of the famous Manuel Antonio National Park, and is edged
by many beautiful beaches, is an ideal location to learn Spanish and
Horse Ride.
The two
towns of Quespos and Manuel Antonio literally join together. Each has a
population of about 7,000. There are many activities to do here – but
one of the best is horse riding. Guided horseback riding excursions take
you along stunning white sanded beaches, or through the jungles and
hills to nearby waterfalls. You will discover the secrets of the forest,
see tucans in our exotic primary forest, and enjoy a relaxing stay at
waterfalls and natural pristine pools.
After
riding, visit the waterfalls where you can swim and relax or enjoy the
stunning beaches.
Manuel
Antonio is very popular because of its expensive white sand beaches
backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line.
The principal habitants are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove
swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation. There is quite a varied fauna with
109 species of mammals and 184 of birds. The park includes 12 little
isles just off the coast; these are a number of dolphins and, at times,
migrating whales can be observed. |
