Our Learn Spanish and Horse ride school in Venezuela is situated in the stunning Andean city of Merida. A small university city of about 300,000. Merida is a very safe and friendly place. Surrounded by the 4-5000 metre mountains, Merida is an ideal place to combine your Spanish language studies and to get out into the huge areas that are perfect for riding.

Chris, the manager of our school also owns a small farm. This is were the horses are located (about 30 minutes from the school). This is no horse riding centre as such - rather a working farm that borders a huge National Park. Just up the road there are hundreds of miles of good ride able terrain.

This School suits the more mature students who wants the freedom to explore, and enjoys becoming fully immersed in both Spanish life, and the horses. You will initially be shown some of the trails - but then you will have the freedom to explore yourself. If you want to become more involved you can also take over the care and exercising of the horses on daily basis.
