Learn Spanish & Kiteboard in Cartagena Colombia

Cartagena is a fantastic historic city, and a great destinations for Kitesurfing. From December to March a strong, and very steady wind blows. It results in great kiteboarding, mixed with an amazing Latino experience.

Intensive Spanish:
If you can already kiteboard, have your own kite, and just wish to take Spanish, this is for you.
Mini groups of 4-8 in a class, 4 hours  per day, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am-12:30pm (Kiteboarding is best in the afternoons!). It is a program designed so you can gain the most out of your time with us. The class will include intensive grammar study, vocabulary, reading and pronunciation of the Spanish language with useful exercises and conversation practice.
Prices:

$180 per week (Classes only, minimum 2 weeks)
$260 per week (Classes and shared student house, minimum 2 weeks)
$300 per week (Class and home stay with 2 meals and laundry service 
$530 per week (Class and private apartment with Balcony, A/C, lift, Swimming pool)

Spanish and Dance course: For your partner!
Often kiteboarders come with their partners! So they can also have a great time, we offer a Spanish and Latin dance (it is Colombia!!!) course. This is Spanish in the morning, and in the afternoon while you are kiteboarding they partake in dance classes.

Kiteboarding and Spanish course
2 weeks of Spanish course / 20 hours per week, in combination of 10 hours (2 hours daily) of Kiteboarding Basic course (Level I)

-All the equipment provided
-Instruction: personalized, 10 hours per week ie 2 hours per day 5 days per week.
-20 hours per week Individual Spanish instruction
-Lodging with a host family (private room, 2 meals and laundry service) 

Kiteboarding course includes:  

• Introduction (Kite surf world)
• Safety first
• Wind, terminology and wind windows
• Structure and basics of kiting
• Ensuring the flight lines to the kite
• Handling of kites
• Exercises with kites under the water
• Perimeters of sailing

Prices: 2 weeks
$640  (with group Spanish lessons) for two weeks Spanish, kite boarding Level I (10 hours),
$800 (with group Spanish lessons) for two weeks Spanish, kite boarding Level I (10 hours), shared student house.

This is an IKO certified course and you will receive IKO certification Level I 

Kiteboarding Level 2 and Spanish course: 1 week
1 week of Spanish course / 20 hours per week, in combination with 10 hours of Kiteboarding Level II instruction

 Intermediate course (Level II).-All the equipment provided
-Instruction: personalized
-20 hours per week Individual Spanish instruction
-Lodging with a host family (private room, 3 meals and laundry service) or private aprtment

Kiteboarding course includes:  

1. One on one private instruction
2. Theory of Wind patterns, currents and tides
3. Water practical with board and kite
4. Learning to tread water on edges of the board and obtaining more control of the Kites and board
5. Directional control
6. Basic Jib
7. Introduction to jumping
   - Beach exercises (with smaller kites for initial safety)
   - Water practise of jumps

This is an IKO certified course and you will receive IKO certification Level II

Kiteboarding and Spanish course: Additional weeks
For additional weeks of Spanish and kiteboarding after you have completed level 2 of kiteboarding (or proved to be at a similar good level)  This is for 20 hours private one on one Spanish and supervised (not instructed)  kiteboarding (includes equipment).
