Learn Medical Spanish in Cusco Peru as you Intern or Volunteer at a hospital

This program is open to all Medical professionals.  The minimum period is four weeks

This program is  run and designed for all medical professionals.  It gives Doctors, nurses and medical students the opportunity to learn Spanish while also learning about Peru's medical system. You will be exposed to different cultural practices and traditions and also have opportunities to establish relationships with Peruvian Doctors with the shared goal of healing and serving those in the community.

This Medical Spanish program is offered in Cusco, an amazing historic city  in Peru. Cusco is renown for its culture and its history. It close proximity to Machu Pichu makes it one of the most sort after destinations in the world.  The Medical Spanish program takes you to a variety of health settings and includes discussions/lectures to give you an overall picture of the medical practice in Peru. Doctors can become fully involved in the hospital, and depending on their experience Medical students will observe and help with physical exams, give injections, suture, etc. All this occurs in Spanish

The program includes Spanish classes (with some emphasis on medical terminology), lodging with local families, full board, cultural activities and some excursions to immerse you in the culture. We are sure what you learn by participating in Medical Service Learning Program will be beneficial and needed in your medial practice in years to come 

Registration: One off fee of $20

Program price:  Please inquire with specifics relating to you experience, possible duration and desired areas of specialisation, and we will design the program for you and provide pricing. Pricing is normal in the area of $300 per week including  20 hours of Spanish, accommodation with your host family, 2 meals (breakfast and lunch), laundry service, airport transfer upon arrival, and weekly activities with the school. Mail service, money exchange, safety box, luggage storage, and use of facilities are also included.

Accommodation option:

Host family: Stay with an Peruvian family and be received as a member of the household. With the home-stay the student can expect: Participation in the family life with the opportunity to consistently practice the Spanish that is learned in class. A Private room inside the house of the family. Meals: breakfast, and dinner are included in the course price
